Rewards That Fly (rewardsthatfly.com.au, “we”, “us”) is an Australian website providing airfare deals, loyalty-program information and planning tools. This policy explains how we handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

• Email address — when you subscribe to our newsletter or alerts. That’s the only personal information our forms ask for.
• Tool inputs — figures you enter into tools (such as a Status Credit balance) are processed to generate results and are not stored against your identity.
• Usage data — standard analytics (pages viewed, approximate location, device type) collected via privacy-respecting analytics, used in aggregate to improve the site.

How we use it

• To send the newsletter and alerts you asked for. Every email includes an unsubscribe link (Spam Act 2003 (Cth)).

Who processes it for us

Our email list is held by our newsletter provider; the site is hosted on cloud infrastructure that may store data outside Australia (including the United States). We choose providers with appropriate safeguards, and disclose personal information to them only as needed to run the service.
